An archaic place, out of the fairytales and long forgotten times, Marişel will win your heart right at the first encounter with the gentle and accessible landscape of the Apuseni Mountains, with green fir trees, with incredibly blue sky and much awaited peace. Here we have created for you, with love, a spacious and welcoming chalet where hospitality, good time and delicious food are the secrets of your mountain holiday. The cabin have 6 double rooms with their own bathroom, an restaurant with healthy food from ecologic ingredients, a conference room, cabin games and many other facilities to upgrade your vacation.

Entertaiment

Visitors can take walks and hiking on foot or by carriage and sleigh rides. The visited area can be expanded to Apuseni Mountains. Also customers can enjoy a Romanian traditional menu, with healthy dishes prepared from ecological ingredients. From soups to desserts, all recipes are cooked in a traditional manner. Homemade bread, syrups and jams from berries, homemade cakes, mulled wine or brandy with pepper spice, all will delight your taste. For groups, on demand, we cook Romanian dishes that requires a longer cooking time. The guest house has the following facilities: playground, trampoline for kids, games (chess, rummy, cards etc..), grill, souvenirs.

Sights to visit

Fântânele Lake is ideal for fishing, kayaking or mountain cooled healthy sunshine. Țicla Gavrii, called the "roof" of Mărișel, is the place where the panorama includes Gorge Răcătăului or “Zamolxe’s Kingdom”. Other objectives are Someșul Rece river,  Tarniţa Lake, Bridal Veil Falls in Răchiţele, Padiș reserve and Scărișoara glacier. For all these locations we can provide tour guide.

Services for business customers

The guest house has a conference room for 20 persons, wireless Internet, plasma TV and sound system. In addition, 40 parking spaces are available for the clients.

How to get to the guest house?

From Cluj-Napoca take the national road DN1/E60 (Cluj Napoca - Oradea); in Gilău turn left to direction Someșu Rece on county road DJ 107P. From Someșu Rece turn right to direction Mărișel on county roads DJ107N, DJ107S, DJ107T. Road length is 60 minutes and driving on this route is a pleasure.
